Having known Jamie & Leanne Madden on a professional level for around 10 years now, I have found them to be extremely genuine and easy to work with. Also having the privilege to sell some of their recent developments, I got to know the quality of their work which is first class of which the Purchasers could also attest to all these years later.
I have also recently experienced working with Madden Constructions for a personal project, which they have all been great to deal with...a super friendly team and quality finish which is what everyone is looking for when appointing a builder. We have used Jamie Madden on several renovation projects and have always found him to be an excellent builder. He is punctual and nothing is too much trouble.
His quality is exceptional, and he is always prepared to go the extra mile. Changes to specifications and designs are taken in his stride and he has always been helpful with designs and materials. Also, when we had an issue with the council, he sorted it out and avoided a major drama. We cannot recommend him highly enough and if you are looking for a quality builder and you want a really good job – he is the man.

We engaged Jamie to construct and assist with design two modern town houses at 14 Thorn street Barwon Heads. We found Jamie to be helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects of both the planning and construction phases. Jamie was able to work within our budget constraints and deliver a quality and well finished product. Changes and variations through out the whole process were easily dealt with and it was a pleasure to work with his tradesmen and various sub contractors.
We can highly recommend Jamie and Leanne to anyone thinking of building their family home, renovating or property development. I look forward to working with them again on our next project.

We are really pleased that we entrusted the building of our dream home to Madden Constructions.
Long before we had a signed contract to build, we had countless meetings (and cups of tea after he finished work for the day) with Jamie. He took countless notes to ensure that it was clear what we wanted to achieve. This formed the basis for a trusting relationship between Jamie and us during the build.
Key features of our experience were:
- The assistance and flexibility to select tiles, floor materials, plumbing fittings etc from where we wanted
- The timely notification of what would be needed and when – e.g. “we’ll need the tiles selected by xxx date”
- A spreadsheet for variations regularly updated and agreed upon by both Jamie and us
- The independent inspections before each progress payment
- The quality of workmanship and attention to detail by Jamie and Michael and their sub-contractors
- Jamie’s willingness to always listen to what must have seemed like naïve questions
A project manager often judges a builder’s work by the “defects list” when the job has been handed over.
There was NO defects list on this job.
The completed house was everything that we had hoped for……..and more.
Over many years we have enlisted the services of Madden Constructions to resurrect an ageing Californian Bungalow into what we believe is now an outstanding family home.
With so many varying aspects, the house now can accommodate for a large family, something we were striving to achieve as we love to have all our grandchildren staying over with us, sharing our delight.
Owning a 100-year-old house came with many challenges, especially when we decided to construct a second floor to the existing residence. Nothing straight, or in the expected place.
So, we handed the task over to Jamie & Michael. This was certainly the biggest challenge we had set them. Throughout the build, every obstacle, and there were plenty was carefully thought through and agreed upon.
We hear the saying “nothing too big or small” – well, that’s what Madden Constructions accomplished with this part of the structure. From 50 tonne cranes with massive booms to complex roof lines the results have been nothing short of amazing.
We have had comments from respected Real Estate agents who have commented that it’s one of the best extensions they have seen – well done guys!The fact that you know your home is in safe hands when you are not around is also something that makes us continually return to Madden Constructions.
